Taking an outdated bungalow with low ceilings and tight rooms, to bright and airy open concept layout. By removing walls and vaulting the kitchen ceiling, we were able to completely update the home into a fresh and functional space for entertaining. Playing with textures and patterns, we added a playful floor transition into the mudroom and created a peakaboo division at the front door.
In the kitchen, simple white cabinets are offset with white oak elements and a stunning island where stone melts into wood. All finishes, fixtures and furniture by avenue design inc.
